Fading.

I’m having trouble keeping the faith. I’ve gotten it in my head that it’s an impossible task to get visible abs in my time-frame. While I still have the burning desire to achieve my goal, I have the feeling like I shouldn’t be killing myself to get there.

I know it’s very silly to think this way – and it’s totally not rational, I’m really fading here.

It’s possible that you’re noticing a decrease of melting fat, i.e. your body looks the same as a week ago. This happened to me recently.
What you can’t see, though, is that your muscles are still growing. Hang in there, you’ll see changes in another few weeks. Don’t overwork yourself, but don’t throw in the towel either! You’re getting there.

    Okay, a few questions:
    1) You mentioned diet issues; can you elaborate? (A few handfuls of cereal doesn’t sound that devestating…)
    2) What’s the workout routine been like this weekend? Is it still mostly cardio, and are you sticking with the higher intensity plan?
    3) How much lifting are you doing?
    4) How much sleep have you been getting?

    Don’t quit on us, Kastner.

It would be a shame to see you quit now, come on you can do it, you have our full support! :D

Keep the faith Rock, the “killing” yourself is SO worth it. You’ll be A-OK, you got this, just keep plugging away, you hit a plateau, you need some kind of shockk to your body, keep up the diet, and give yourself a day off, or kill yourself one day, something such that your body doesn’t know how to handle it… I was doing great myself, until I broke my pinkie toe on Friday night, I am hoping I can be running again by the end od this week… Come on Rock, don’t quit on us… don’t let this get in your head.. you still have weeks.. a ton of time.. keep it up

Great success always comes just after failure. Perseverence, not luck, is what seperates men from boys.
