Making time for myself (or not)

I’m pretty upset with myself right now. I stayed up until 3am working on a project – Rocket Vote . I wasn’t able to get to the gym when I woke up because we were having server issues (the extra bad kind). Then the day totally slipped away while trying to scale our runaway success – Tag My . We’re still not out of the woods with tag my, but we’re getting closer.

I am going to throw down some pushups tonight. Something is better then nothing.

I swear wearing underwear in the pics was a req…

pushups are def good, any reason you can’t bang out some of this week’s situps as well?

LOL, Ché. I had taken the underwear part out; I didn’t realize it’d be a problem. Apparently a revision is necessary.

When you do your push-ups try to bang out a couple sets.

I’d like to point out to you that this post does not comply with requirement #7. Please reread the requirements for this challenge, and update the blog accordingly.

I had not taken those measurements – check the clause on #7 :)

Body fat, if measured since last post. Exercises, weight, and waist size are always mandatory.

Cool, no post for the 7th. Going to shoot for losing $50 the first week? :) Also, you really do have to adhere to #7. The only one that we have the clause for ‘if it’s been measured since last post’ is for your body fat %, as that has a seperate rule that it must be measured every 2 weeks by a professional. You can’t just ignore your weight, waist, and exercises because you didn’t feel it was time to measure :) (Plus, how the hell would you measure your exercises? :-P)

I am highly amused by the exchange… so what’s the update on the underwear issue?

Since last week was clearly a wash, $50 will need to be deducted from the pot in accordance to the rules.

Based on the observations from the prior week, the Benevolent 5 have decided to append the following clause to the list of rules governing the contest effective immediately:

“If at least 50% of the exercise requirements, for any given week, are not met the fine will be doubled to $100. 50% of the exercise requirements would be 2 gym days a week, 3 1/2 hours of cardio a week, 125 pushups a week, and 150 situps a week.”

We are making this change not out of malevolence, but to help bring consistency to your exercise regiment.

Also we have made a slight modifications to contests’ requirements:

1: Minimum of one picture update per week (underwear required).
2: Four gym days a week (one day may be substituted with a TaeKwon-Do session).
3: Five hours of cardio a week.
    4: 250 pushups a week.
    5: 300 situps a week.
    6: Six blog-updates a week
7: Each post must contain Body Fat %, if measured since the last update.
8: Each post must contain a new reading of your weight.
9: Each post must contain a new reading of your waist size.
    10. Each post must contain an explicit report of exercises completed for the time period which said post is covering.
11: Body Fat percentage measured by a professional at least once every two weeks.

Good luck dude, going well I have to say. This is much more fun than doing actual work and my teacher thinks I’m looking for a stooooopid website. Again, good luck! [xXx]

We’re going to need a swiffer to knock the dust off this page.

    What’s new?
