Keep it up man. I was getting inspired by your recent push, then you just stopped? Or just not blogging about it?

Hi,
I just ran through your meals. Can I be honest? The food you eat is absolutely awful. No fresh vegetables or fruit. Everything is premade, industrialized, packaged, canned, dried, frozen etc. If you want to get that six-pack then doing crunches with one hand and popping pizza with the other is not going to work. I bet this is not exactly news for you. Buy a natural cook book and start eating naturally. Make ýour meals from scratch. Make slow food, not fast food. Get some natural food friends to help and inspire you.
Good luck :) from a babe in Denmark.

Have to agree with Margaret, the diet is as important as the exercise. However, I’d go at it a little differently.
Certainly you need to cut out the pizzas and burgers completely, but do it a little more slowly. Fresh fruit and veg isn’t such a hardship, but don’t try to team them with wholegrain pasta etc straight away. How about a piece of grilled chicken? Failing that, a grilled chicken burger? Small steps, fellah, small steps.
Incidentally, a banana and lots of water after exercise will help replace lost fluids and top up energy levels, as help stave off the hunger that often strikes.
Alright man… looking at your diet log exercise schedule, I have to say a 6 pack by summer is nearly impossible. Let me tell you why. Your BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate) is the minimum amount of Calories that you need to live per day. Your goal when you lose weight is to eat at least 500 Calories less than your BMR per day (not only that, but cutting your fat and sugary diet for good). Oh…. and one mile per day is also not going to cut it. How do I know? I’ve been running 3-5 miles a day since january, and I still dont have a 6 pack (note: I am 5’9”, used to be 178 in Jan… lost 20 pounds since then). If i were you, I’d up your exercise by 3 miles a day (even if you just walk the other 2 miles, that’s still good) and make better choices for your diet switching your refined sugar and white flour diet into complex carbohydrates (like whole grain and fruits). also up your protein intake (protein makes you feel full and helps build muscle).
